Rally Finland 2011 Driver of the day

Day 1 of rally Finland
Driver of the day goes to Sebastien Loeb
I give driver of day 1 to Mr World Champion because he was simply the fastest and didnt play tactics
he went into Day 2 of the rally with the job of road sweeper with a lead of 2.8s over his team mate Sebastien Ogier.

Day 2 of rally Finland
Driver of the day goes to Mikko Hirvonen
Driver of day 2 of the rally has to be Mikko Hirvonen. After a dissapointing start to the rally after hitting a tree on SS1, Hirvonen fought back on day 2 winning 5 of the days stages, fighting his way up the leaderboard from 36th to 6th! Without the set back on the opening stage of the rally this may have been Mikko's rally.

Day 3 of rally Finland
Driver of the day goes to Sebastien Loeb
Mr Loeb went into the final day of rally Finland with a lead  of only 1.5seconds over his team mate and title rival Sebastien Ogier. Sebastien Loeb was expected to struggle sweeping the roads on the final day. Maybe it was because it rained but Loeb kept on fighting  extending his lead to 9.5s after SS13. Loeb could relax a little more when his team mate suffered a set back when on the afternoon stages he suffered a  left front puncture. But the fighting couldnt stop there. Fords Latvala and local boy began to cut the deficit down to 8.2s at the end.
But it was Sebastien Loeb who was fastest in the Finnish forests winning the event and becoming the only non-scandanavian to win the event twice.
Well done Monsieur Loeb!
